About the Role
You’ll lead 50-minute reformer classes that blend precise technique with mindful movement, creating an experience that honors each client’s unique body and goals. Our classes consistently fill because we deliver exceptional instruction in an intimate, supportive environment—we’re looking for instructors who share our commitment to this standard.
What You’ll Bring
Required Qualifications:
- Reformer certification through Balanced Body or equivalent recognized program
- Minimum 30 hours of personal reformer practice
- Demonstrated ability to teach mixed-level classes with appropriate modifications
- Completion of our in-house instructor orientation and mentoring process

Your Responsibilities
Client Experience:
- Arrive 15 minutes before class to create a welcoming environment
- Greet each client warmly and assist with equipment setup
- Deliver safe, effective programming with appropriate modifications for varying abilities and physical limitations
- Assist clients with alignment and proper form
- Foster connection by learning clients’ names, goals, and practice motivations
Studio Citizenship:
- Support clients with app navigation, scheduling, and retail purchases as needed
- Uphold studio standards with thoughtful courtesy (equipment care, save chatting for before/after class, fragrance policy, device-free practice space, etc.)
- Maintain equipment protocols: wiping down after use, spring resetting, proper storage
- Participate actively in team meetings and continuing education opportunities
Professional Growth:
